About the role

As a Production Manager within the Axon Group, you are responsible for the daily management and organisation of our production activities. You will work closely with your team on the shop floor, combining operational hands-on involvement with coaching leadership. You ensure the efficient, safe, and high-quality operation of the workshop and warehouse, with a keen eye for people, processes, and continuous improvement. Your base of operations is our headquarters in Mouscron, while our technicians often travel to client sites.

Your responsibilities

•    You manage a team of 15 employees (both blue-collar and white-collar).
•    You receive support from two colleagues for both internal and external matters.
•    You are present on the shop floor and in the warehouse on a daily basis.
•    You are responsible for the organisation and follow-up of production activities. This includes the planning and monitoring of both tasks and resources.
•    You are responsible for certain aspects of maintenance (building, measuring devices) as well as checking the manufacturability of parts for the various entities.
•    You actively focus on safety, order, and cleanliness (5S).
•    You utilise ERP processes and contribute to thinking about further optimisations.
•    You work closely with other departments, such as R&D and product technology. 
 

Your profile

•    You have at least 5 years of experience in a leadership role within a workshop or production environment.
•    You have a technical background (electromechanics or similar).
•    You possess strong organisational and planning skills.
•    You communicate fluently in Dutch and French, as the workplace is bilingual.
•    Safety, quality, and continuous improvement are second nature to you.
•    You have a practical mindset, are decisive, and enjoy being present on the shop floor.
•    You start the working day together with your colleagues at 08:00.
