Application

Our customer is one of the largest and oldest producers of titanium dioxide (TiO2) in Europe. Titanium dioxide, also called titanium white, is mainly used as a whitening pigment in paint, plastics and paper.

Almeco has produced an axial wall fan to enable the ventilation of a production building at their site in Belgium. This custom-made fan of the AVK type has a diameter of 1.120 mm and a flow rate of 35.000 m³/h. To meet the specific requirements of the customer, the fan is resistant to a corrosive environment and the noise level remains below 80 dB(A) at all times.
